NEW PDF ARRIVAL: Julie Storm's "Till The Shadow Passes"
It's a very rare fiction book. Published in 1960 by Collins UK, and yet the original language of its first international publication is unknown. I am guessing that it was originally French, or German, as translated to English by Antonia White.
Julia Storm's novel, "Till The Shadow Passes," is a work of historical fiction that immerses readers in the profound human struggles of the World War II era. The narrative flows with the sweeping movements of armies, and focuses on the intimate battles for survival, hope, and moral integrity waged by ordinary individuals.
The story is recognized for its deep emotional resonance, exploring themes of resilience in the face of overwhelming darkness, the enduring power of human connection, and the quiet courage required to maintain one's dignity during times of extreme duress. It is a poignant and character-driven account that pays tribute to the strength of the human spirit when confronted by history's darkest chapters.
The PDF version is a private collection.
